JS body for including technical education in school syllabus

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education Ministry today recommended including technical education in the syllabus from the sixth grade in general educational institutions.

The parliamentary body made recommendation in its 22nd meeting with Committee Chairman Md Afsarul Amin in the chair, said an official release here.

Committee members Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Golam Mostafa, SM Abul Kalam Azad, Md. Mamunur Rashid and Selina Akthar were present in the meeting.

The meeting also recommended providing the parliamentary committee with the draft policy on bringing non-government teachers and officials in MPO (Monthly Payment Order).

Senior officials of Education Ministry and Jatiya Sangsad were present in the meeting, the release added.
