No fruitful dev without curbing corruption: Nahid
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today said without combating corruption desired result of development could not be reached at people`s doorsteps.
"No fruitful development is possible without curbing corruption," he told reporters at a human chain organised by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) in front of Jatiya Press Club as part of countrywide awareness campaign against corruption.
Lauding the activities of the ACC as an effective institution, Nahid said due to their (ACC authority) pragmatic and precautionary steps there was no `admission business` at renowned schools in the capital.
