Education Minister hints retaking SSC math exam after controversy

Referring to Secondary School Certificate (SSC) math question paper leakage incident in three boards including Dhaka Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has hinted that the exam might be retaken if the probe committee finds the allegation correct.

The minister made the remark while talking to journalists at the secretariat on Monday.

“We will form a probe committee in this regard. We will take decision after receiving the report,” Nahid said.

The minister said that they have taken the toughest stance against the question leakage. They have got success for the last three years. Now they are in an awkward situation after this incident.

“It’s a matter of our image and we must bring those who are responsible for incident to justice,” he added.

Meanwhile, It was alleged that the mathematics examination of SSC in three boards including Dhaka was held with question paper which was leaked through messaging app WhatsAPP hours before the test on Sunday.
