People responsible won’t be spared: Nahid

Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid said that those who are  responsible for the mistakes in the textbooks would not be spared.

The minister made the remark at a press briefing at the secretariat  today (January 10).

Nahid admitted that  there are mistakes in the textbooks but he said that there is still time to correct them.

Nahid held the press conference in the wake of widespread criticism across the country  for some big mistakes in the textbooks.

He informed journalists that the education ministry has already formed a three-member probe body, led by an additional secretary in this regard. He said that the ministry would take action after getting the probe report.
