93.06% pass in JSC, JDC exams

Over 90% examinees have passed the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) Examinations in this year.

A total of 92.33% students came out successful in the class VIII terminal examinations while a total of 2, 47,588 students got GPA 5.

The pass rate was 90.41% last year.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid ceremonially handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:30am.

The minister will announce the results at his Secretariat office around 12pm on Thursday.

A total of 23, 46,959 students appeared in JSC, JDC examinations this year.
