Ahsan Khan Chowdhury elected Midland Bank chairman

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury has been elected Chairman of Midland Bank PLC. This decision was made in the 165th meeting of the Board of Directors held on March 20, 2025.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury is one of the Sponsor Directors and a member of the Executive Committee of Midland Bank PLC. He is also the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Bank.

He studied at Wartburg College in the USA and joined the PRAN-RFL Group in 1992 as a Director. He oversees business operations across all enterprises, demonstrating strong supervisory abilities and a passion for managing business operations.

He is also the Chairman and CEO of PRAN-RFL. PRAN and RFL are two prominent brands in the FMCG and Light Engineering sectors employing more than 1,45,000 employees across various sectors.
