Uzma Chowdhury elected Meghna Bank chairperson

Uzma Chowdhury has been elected Chairperson of Meghna Bank at its 185th Board Meeting on Sunday, March 16, 2025. 

Since October 2008, she has served as Director of Finance at PRAN-RFL Group, Bangladesh’s largest and most diversified conglomerate.  

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) registered in Texas, USA, Chowdhury holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. 

She brings over seven years of petroleum industry experience from the United States and served four years as Secretary of the Houston Chapter of the American Women’s Society of CPAs.
