Exports rise by 2.77% in February

In February, Bangladesh earned $3.9731 billion from goods exports, marking a 2.77 per cent increase compared to the same month last year. 

The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) released these figures in an updated report on Tuesday, March 4.

According to the report, export income in February 2025 grew by 2.77 per cent from $3.8661 billion recorded in February 2024. 

Over the first eight months of the 2024-25 fiscal year (July to February), goods exports surged by 10.53 per cent compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year. 

During this time, exports totalled $32.94 billion, up from $29.81 billion the year before.
