PRAN participates in Gulf Food Fair

PRAN, the leading food processor in Bangladesh, is working to expand its reach globally and strengthen its presence in Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and Europe. To achieve this goal, the company is participating in the Gulf Food Fair, one of the largest food fairs in the world.

PRAN is showcasing over 500 products at the five-day fair, which began on Monday, February 17, at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates.

Food and beverage products manufacturing and marketing companies from different parts of the world participate in the fair every year. More than 5,500 companies from more than 129 countries are exhibiting their products and services in this year's Gulf Food Fair. The world’s leading food manufacturers and marketers, including PRAN, are participating in the fair.

Mizanur Rahman, Executive Director (Export) at PRAN Group, said, “the Gulf fair is very important for food processors. Manufacturers and distributors come to the fair for gathering knowledge about new products and services in the sector. In addition to displaying their products, the manufacturing companies are informed about the production-related machinery and materials. Moreover, the participation of big companies allows us to understand their products and the changes taking place in consumer behavior worldwide. In addition, new products and services are presented to existing importers.”

He also said that PRAN Group has been participating in the Gulf Fair regularly since 2013. Every year, about 500 importers from different countries visit PRAN's stall. This time, PRAN is exhibiting its products in various categories including juice and beverage, biscuit and bakery, snacks, noodles, spices, culinary and frozen foods. In this year's fair, PRAN will emphasize on various types of flavored drinks, various variants of biscuits, juice, spices, wafer, noodles and frozen foods.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group, said, "PRAN's goal is to export products worth USD 500 million by 2025. To this end, PRAN is participating in the Gulf Food Fair with its new products and to increase the export of existing products. By participating in the fair, we will focus on increasing communication with importers from different countries and capturing new markets. Currently, PRAN's products are being regularly exported to 148 countries. Our goal is to export PRAN products to every country in the world in the shortest possible time."
