PRAN-RFL provides food assistance to helpless, unemployed

PRAN-RFL Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate, is providing food assistance to the helpless, unemployed and low-income people in several districts of the country. Many of them are suffering from food shortages due to lack of work and loss of income due to winter. Considering their situation, this move has been taken under the initiative, ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’.
Recently, food assistance was provided to 2,000 families in Feni and Lakshmipur districts in the presence of the officials of local administrations.
Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director (Marketing) of PRAN-RFL Group, said, "As part of our social responsibility, we have distributed 10 kg of rice each to 2,000 families in Lakshmipur and Feni districts. In this phase, we will provide food assistance to another 8,000 families in Noakhali, Natore, Sherpur and Habiganj districts."
He also said, “PRAN-RFL Group has always been working with the helpless, unemployed and low-income people. Such activities will continue in the future.”
PRAN-RFL group has launched the project ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’ in 2020 with the aim of helping the helpless people immediately in case of any calamities. Through this programme, various types of assistance have been provided to over one lakh people in the past few years.
