Rezanur appointed as Petrobangla chairman

Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, M Rezanur Rahman, has been appointed as the chairman of Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla).

He joined the post on Thursday, January 2, said an official release on Sunday, January 5.

Rezanur Rahman, an officer of 17th batch of the BCS (Administration) cadre, served in various capacities at the field level, local government, Ministry of Health, Energy Regulatory Commission and Anti-Corruption Commission, said the release.

He is graduated from Mechanical Engineering department of (BUET) and earned professional master’s degree holder from ITC Netherlands.
