Chief Adviser to inaugurate DITF on Wednesday

The 29th Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) 2025 will begin on January 1 (Wednesday) at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, organized jointly by the Ministry of Commerce and the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).

The fair will be inaugurated by Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser to the interim government, at 10:30 am on the same day. The inauguration ceremony will also be attended by Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin and Vice-Chairman of the EPB, Md Anwar Hossain.

This year, 362 stalls and pavilions will participate in the fair, with seven countries, including India, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

To facilitate the movement of visitors from Kuril, Bhulta, Gazipur, and Narayanganj, 300 BRTC buses will operate during the fair. The fair will be open daily from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. The entry fee is Tk 50 for adults and Tk 25 for children.
