Gold prices drop to Tk 1,38,498 per bhori
The price of gold in Bangladesh has been reduced slightly, with the cost of a bhori (11.664 grams) of the highest quality 22-carat gold dropping by Tk 1,773 to Tk 1,38,498.
The adjustment comes in response to a decline in the price of tejabi gold (pure gold) in the local market, as announced by the Bangladesh Jewelers' Association (BAJUS).
The new prices will take effect on Sunday (December 15), according to a BAJUS notification signed by Masudur Rahman, chairman of its Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee.

Following the revision, the prices per bhori are as follows:
22-carat gold: Tk 1,38,498 (down by Tk 1,773)

18-carat gold: Tk 1,13,316 (down by Tk 1,458)
