Gold price hiked by Tk 2,823 per bhori

The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association, BAJUS, has hiked the price of 22 carat gold by Tk 2,823 to Tk 1,42,266 per bhori.

Besides, 21-carat gold was raised by Tk 2,706 to 1,35,804 a bhori (11.664 grams), 18-carat by Tk 2,309 to Tk 1,16,395, and gold of traditional method by Tk 1,971 to Tk 95,645 respectively, BAJUS said in a statement on Saturday (November 23).

The association said it increased the prices following a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market.

The new prices will come into effect from Sunday (November 24).

Earlier on November 21, BAJUS raised the price of 22 carat gold by Tk 1,994 to Tk 1,39,443 per bhori.
