Duties withdrawn on potatoes, onions to lower prices

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has withdrawn the 25% import duty on pesticides, along with reducing the 10% duty on potatoes and the 5% regulatory duty on onions. 

NBR Public Relations Officer Syed A Mumen confirmed the issuance of three separate notifications regarding the changes on Thursday (September 5). These adjustments are aimed at stabilizing market prices and will remain in effect until November 30 this year.
