PRAN-RFL stands beside flood-hit people

The country’s leading business conglomerate PRAN-RFL group has stood beside people affected flood in different districts of the country.

Dry food and bottled water are being provided to the flood-hit people under the initiative ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’.

The relief has been distributed among 4,000 families in Feni and Cumilla with the help of the local administration and the Bangladesh Army on Friday.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, director (Marketing) at PRAN-RFL Group, said, "Feni, Noakhali, Cumilla and other areas of the country were affected by heavy rainfall and flesh floods due to the upper stream. We are taking initiatives to provide dry food and drinking water to help the people of these areas immediately."

“Our relief distribution will continue until the flood situation improves. Apart from this, we are distributing relief in almost all the flood-affected districts,” he also said.

PRAN-RFL Group launched the project ‘Pashe Asi Bangladesh’ in 2020 with the aim of helping the helpless people immediately in case of any national crisis as part of corporate social responsibility. In continuation of this, the group stood by people during various disasters including Corona and floods.
