Gold price reduced by Tk 1295 per bhori

The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association has decided to reduce the price of gold by Tk 1,295 per bhori following a decrease in the price of pure gold in the local market.
Gold of 22-carat was reduced by Tk 1,295 to Tk 1,15,882 per bhori (11.664 grams), 21-carat by Tk 1,236 to Tk 1,10,610, 18-carat by Tk 1,049 to Tk 94,817, and gold of traditional method by Tk 875 to Tk 78,382 respectively.
BAJUS's standing committee on pricing and price monitoring decided this in a meeting on Saturday, a press release said.
The new prices will come into effect from Sunday (June 8).
