Shibli Rubayat reppointed BSEC chairman

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam has been reappointed for four more years.

The Financial Institutions Division of the Finance Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.

The notification said BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam has been reappointed for the next four years according to section 5(6) of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission Act, 1993. 

Earlier on May 17, 2020, Shibli Rubayat, the former dean of Dhaka University's Business Studies Faculty and professor of the Banking and Insurance Department of the university, was made BSEC chairman.
