Prices of wheat, flour, onion, garlic, ginger go up

The retail prices of wheat, flour, onion, garlic and ginger have gone up in the market.

According to the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB), prices of packaged wheat went up by Tk 5 to Tk 55-65 from Tk 55-60 and packaged flour rose by Tk 5 to Tk 70-75 a kg from 65-75 in a week.

During the period, prices of onion increased to Tk 100 from 80-90. Garlic and ginger are being sold at Tk 200-260 rising by 4.35 percent and 2.22 percent respectively.
