Govt raises 12 kg LPG price by Tk 29

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 29 to Tk 1,433 per 12 kg cylinder.

The new prices will come into effect from 6 pm today (January 2), BERC said in a press conference on Tuesday.

According to the fresh prices, 15 kg cylinder will now cost Tk 1,790, 16 kg Tk 1,911, 18 kg Tk 2,149, 20 kg Tk 2,388, 22 kg Tk 2,627, 25 kg Tk 2,985, 30 kg Tk 3,582, 33 kg 3,940, 35 kg Tk 4,179 and 45 kg Tk 5,373.

Earlier, the government increased LPG prices from Tk 1,381 to Tk 1,404 per 12 kg cylinder for December.
