Best Buy awards winners of ‘Ako Bijoyer Anando’ campaign

Best Buy, a popular retail chain of RFL Group, awarded the winners of ‘Ako Bijoyer Anando’, an art competition organized on the occasion of Victory Day. 

The grand finale of the competition was held at the Gulshan Youth Club ground in Dhaka on Saturday. Renowned artist Biren Shome was present as the judge for the final competition.

The champion of the competition received Best Buy gift voucher worth Tk 20,000 as prize money. The second and third winners received Tk 15,000 and 10,000 respectively. Therefore, a scholarship for six months, stationery items for one year, a crest and a certificate were also handed over among the top three winners. Good Luck Stationery and Rainbow Paints were the co-sponsors of the competition. 

A total of 1200 participants across the country submitted their drawings. From these submissions, 10 participants were selected for the grand finale. Following the competition, the top three winners were chosen. 

Artist Biren Shome expressed his satisfaction witnessing the talent of young children during the competition. He thanked the authorities of Best Buy for arranging such a great initiative to nurture the latent talent of young children in a beautiful environment. He also thanked the guardians for their support and presence.  

Shafiq Shahin, Head of Marketing of Best Buy said, “We organized the art competition involving the regular customers to foster the talent of their children and help them more skilled.  

Mahidul Islam, in charge of Best Buy, said, “We received thousands of paintings through Best Buy showrooms from across the country. We are inspired by the spontaneous participation of everyone in the event and aim to engage with our customers through similar programs in the future.” 

Currently, Best Buy has over 320 showrooms nationwide, offering a wide range of household plastics, electronics, glassware and kitchenware items.
