Gold price raised by Tk 1750 per bhori
The Bangladesh Jeweler’s Association has decided to raise the price of gold by Tk 1,750 per bhori following an increase in the price of pure gold in the local market.
Now, gold of 22-carat will cost Tk 1,04,626 per bhori (11.664 grams), 21-carat Tk 99,902, 18-carat Tk 85,614, and gold of traditional method Tk 71,325 respectively.
BAJUS's standing committee on pricing and price monitoring took the decision in a meeting on Sunday, a press release said.
The new prices will come into effect from Monday (November 6).
Earlier on October 27, the jeweler’s association increased the price of gold by Tk 2,332 to Tk 1,02,876 per bhori.
It was the highest price of gold as of today (November 6).
