Khairuzzaman Mozumder made new finance secretary

Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder has been appointed as the new secretary of the Finance Ministry.
The Public Administration Ministry on Wednesday issued a notification in this regard.
His appointment as finance secretary will come into effect from August 28, said the notification.
Earlier, Khairuzzaman Mazumder, a BCS cadre (administration), worked in different positions in the Finance Division, Commerce Ministry, National Board of Revenue (NBR), Office of Bandarban deputy commissioner, USAID program (as Chief of Party of IBI project), Business Promotion Council and Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI).
