Soybean oil price reduced by Tk 5 per liter

The maximum retail prices of bottled and loose soybean oil have been reduced by Tk 5 per liter respectively.

As per the new rates, the price of loose soybean oil has been fixed at Tk 154 and bottled soybean oil at Tk 174 per litre. A 5-litre bottle of soybean oil price is set at Tk 850.

The Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association said this in a press release on Sunday.

The fresh prices will come into effect from Monday, the press release said.

Earlier on July 11, the price of bottled soybean oil was reduced by Tk 10 per litre to Tk 179.

Besides, the price of loose soybean oil was dropped by Tk 8 to Tk 159 per litre.
