Govt raises 12 kg LPG price by Tk 141

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 141 to Tk 1,140 per 12 kg cylinder.

The new prices will come into effect from 6 pm today (August 2), BERC said on Wednesday.

According to the fresh prices, 15 kg cylinder will now cost Tk 1,424, 16 kg Tk 1,519, 18 kg Tk 1,709, 20 kg Tk 1,899, 22 kg Tk 2,900, 25 kg Tk 2,374, 30 kg Tk 2,849, 33 kg 3,134, 35 kg Tk 3,324 and 45 kg Tk 4,273.

Earlier, the government reduced LPG prices by Tk 75 to Tk 999 per 12 kg cylinder for July.
