Govt raises 12 kg LPG price by Tk 57

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 57 to Tk 1,235 per 12 kg cylinder.

The new prices will come into effect from 6 pm today (May 2), BERC Chairman Md Nurul Amin said in a press conference on Tuesday. 

Earlier, the government reduced LPG prices to Tk 1,178 per 12 kg cylinder for the month of April.
