Gold prices reduced by 1283 per bhori
The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association has decided to reduce the prices of gold by Tk 1,283 per bhori following a decrease in prices of pure gold in the local market.
The new prices will come into effect from Thursday (September 15).
BAJUS's standing committee on pricing and price monitoring took the decision in a meeting on Wednesday, a press release said.
Now, gold of 22-carat will cost Tk 83,281 per bhori (11.664 grams), 21-carat Tk 79,490, 18-carat Tk 68,118, and gold of traditional method Tk 56,454 respectively.
Earlier on September 11, the jeweller’s association hiked the gold prices by Tk 1,283 per bhori to record Tk 84,564.
