Soyabean oil prices reduced to Tk 160 per litre

The maximum retail prices of bottled soyabean oil have been reduced by Tk 8 to Tk 160 per litre.
The MRP of loose soyabean oil has also been brought down to Tk 136 from Tk 143.
Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh told the reporters after a meeting with the officials of oil manufacturers at the Secretariat in the capital on Sunday.
The new price rates will come into effect at the mill gates from Monday but it will take five to six days at the consumer level, he said.
