Job Context

• Consultant/RMO Husband and Wife are highly preferable.

• Consultant/ RMO - (Gyne & Obs) and Surgery/Ortho/Urology

 

Job Description / Responsibility

• To treat patients in OPD, Indoor and emergency & admit the patients.

• To ensure smooth functions of her departmental activities.

• Attending call of EMO and MO during any critical or emergency case of the Hospital.

• To take necessary measures / initiatives for arranging surgical intervention/procedure.

• To perform surgeries, specially LUCS and normal delivery within her limit and if needed to call hierarchy.

• To maintain highest professional ethical value and humanity in dealing with the patients.

• To monitor and ensure the duties of Doctors and Staff under her disposal.

• To ensure cleanliness of her area of the Hospital.

• To follow other instructions and do any additional job related assignment given by the Hospital authority or Management from time to time and abide by the rules and regulations of the Organization.

• Carries out daily ward rounds for admitted obstetric and gynecological patients including post-operative cases, with the support of other medical doctors, and health professionals working in the health complex

• Overseeing and managing the MCH clinic; supporting and train staff, advice on improvements to service delivery as well as direct provision of antenatal, perinatal and post-natal services.

• Performs USGs for referred cases including pregnant women with complications and other obs-gynae cases and advice.

• Provides on-the-job training to other health staff and junior doctors, Nurses, Aya, Cleaner on; improved management practices and other quality best practices with the aim of improving patients' treatment outcomes

• Assist to prepare periodic reports and other requests for information as required

 

Educational Requirements

• Completed advance university degree in MBBS with a minimum of Post-Graduate training from an accredited academic institution.

• A post-graduate degree (MS /FCPS /DGO /D Ortho) is highly preferable.

• Must have updated registration from BMDC.
