Govt sets GDP growth target 7.2%

The government has set the growth target of gross domestic product (GDP) at 7.2 percent in the proposed budget for the financial year 2021-22.

The inflation rate was fixed at 5.3 percent.

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said this while the proposed budget of Tk 603,681 crore in Jatiya Sangsad (JS) on Thursday.
