National Life Insurance's CEO dies of Covid-19

The chief executive officer of National Life Insurance Company Ltd, Jamal M A Naser, has died of COVID-19, the disease caused by novel coronavirus.

He breathed his last at United Hospital Ltd, Dhaka on Sunday, the insurance company's PRO Amir Hossain Jony confirmed to Jago News.

Earlier Jamal Naser got admitted to the hospital on June 12 after he had tested positive for the lethal virus. 

A well known person in the insurance sector, Jamal Naser served NLIC as chief executive officer for around eight years since 2012. 

Earlier in 2011, he joined the company as additional managing director.
