Markets, shopping malls in Khulna shut from Thursday

Shopping malls and markets in Khulna city will stay shut from Thursday as the coronavirus infections in the district rose significantly.

The hawkers will also not be allowed in footpath aims to limit the outbreak.

However, the drug stores, and shops of daily essentials will remain out of the purview of the restrictions.

The decisions were taken at the meeting of Khulna district coronavirus prevention comiittee on Tuesday.

Deputy commissioner Mohammad Helal Hossain presided over meeting held at circuit house.

The meeting also decided to allow plying of easybike and other vehicles in limited scale, and be strict against those walk without masks.
