Shibli Rubayat made BSEC chairman

Dhaka University teacher Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam has been made the new chairman of the capital market regulator BSEC.
Shibli Rubayat, also dean of the universsity's Business Studies faculty, told Jago New on Sunday.
Later, the financial institution division of the Finance Ministry issued a notification in this regard.
The notification read the professor of the Banking and Insurance Department, DU has been appointed BSEC chief for four years.
Shibli Rubayat replaced outgoing chairman prof M Khairul Hossain as the latter's term ended on May 14.
