Coronavirus: Shops reopen, draw fewer buyers in first day
After one and a half month closure due to coronavirus, some shopping malls and markets reopened on Sunday but there were fewer buyers.
Visiting different areas, most of the shop-showroom were found closed, and those resumed trade were seen passing time idle.
The businesses said people don't go out in fear of the deadly virus but they hope the number of purchasers will rise after one or two days.
Earlier on May 4, the government allowed the shopping malls and markets to operate on a limited scale from today. But the authorities of a good number of shopping malls and markets decided to keep the establishments shut until Eid-ul-Fitr to curb the virus spread.
