Finalization of national productivity master plan by Dec
Works of making draft of an action plan to implement the National Productivity Master Plan will be completed by June and the same finalized by December this year
Implementation of the 10-year master plan will begin fron January 2021 aiming to increase productivity in all sectors, including industry, service and agriculture, to the desired extent.
The decisions came at the 19th meeting of national productivity executive committee held at the Ministry of Industries on Sunday. Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim presided over the metting.
At the meeting, the industries secretary stressed the need of making skilled all relevant with production chain aims to amplify productivity.
He also emphasized that ensuring utmost use of raw materials, equipments used in production process in mill-industry, manpower and time hence.
Speakers at the meeting also discussed about increase of production capacity of state-owned sugar mills.
A programme has been taken to enhance production capacity of Rajshahi, Natore, and North Bengal Sugar Mills through controlling standard with application of material flow cost accounting system, said at the meeting.
It was also mentioned in the meeting that technical expert team of Japan-based Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) has already conducted primary stage survey to this end.
