Dhaka int’l trade fair deferred
The 24th edition of Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) has been deferred by a week due to the upcoming national polls.
The month-long fair at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar will be inaugurated on January 9 instead of January 1, according to the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB).
EPB Director General Ramjan Ali said: “The stall allocation will end this month. So far, 43 foreign companies have applied for the stall.”
The fair remain open for visitors from 10am to 10pm and the entry fee for an adult is Taka 30 and for children at Taka 20.
The month-long fair began on December 1, 1995 to show export quality goods being produced in Bangladesh.
