Cabinet okays Tk 4.65 trillion budget for 2018-19

The cabinet in its special meeting today approved the proposed national budget of around Tk 4.65 trillion for fiscal 2018-19.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting held in the cabinet room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here.
The cabinet also endorsed the Appropriation (supplementary) Bill-2018 and the Appropriation Bill-2018.
Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and other ministers and state ministers concerned attended the meeting.
