BB removes NRBC Bank MD

Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer of the NRB Commercial (NRBC) Bank Dewan Mujibur Rahman has been removed for his alleged involvement in corruption and irregularities.
"We have already sent directive to NRBC Bank in this regard," Bangladesh Bank (BB) Chief Spokesperson Subhankar Shah told BSS today. Dewan Mujibur Rahman has also been barred from working in any bank or financial institution for two years, according to a news agency.
He joined the NRBC Bank in 2013.
