BATB wins tax award

British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) was awarded at Income Tax Fair Program-2017 organized by National Board of Revenue at its headquarters at Agargaon in Dhaka on Wednesday, says a press release.

BATB Chairman Golam Mainuddin and Managing Director Shehzad Munim received ‘Tax Card’ from State Minister for Finance M. A. Mannan, Dr. Md Abdur Razzaque, Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance Ministry and Md Nojibur Rahman Senior Secretary, Internal Resources Division and Chairman, National Board of Revenue as Highest Income Taxpayer in ‘Manufacturing - Others’ category.

Earlier, the company was also awarded with Bangladesh Best Corporate Social Responsibility Practice, Best Recruiting Evaluation Technique and HR Event of the Year for the company’s flagship recruitment initiative the Battle of Minds on the same occasion.
