NOVOAIR adds 4th ATR in fleet
NOVOAIR, one of the country’s private airlines, today added its fourth 68-seater ATR 72-500 aircraft in its fleet.
The aircraft landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12.57 pm, reports BSS.
Member Operations Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Air Commodore M Mostafizur Rahman, Novoair Chairman Fayzur Rahman and Acting Managing Director Syed Moinul Haq were present on the occasion.
Novoair has planned to increase one flight to Chittagong, one flight to Jessore and one flight to Saidpur on mid-week of September with the new aircraft.
Currently the airline operates daily four flights from Dhaka to Chittagong. two flights to Cox’s Bazar, two flights to Jessore, one flight to Sylhet, two flights to Saidpur and one flight to Kolkata.
More than 1,500 ATR are operated around the world in more than 200 airlines. This environmentally-friendly ‘green aircraft is highly suitable for the weather in the South and South-East Asian countries all over the world.
