PRAN honours two New Zealand importers

PRAN, a leading food processor and exporter in Bangladesh, recently awarded two importers of New Zealand, for their support to popularize its products there.

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, deputy managing director at PRAN-RFL Group handed over the crest to Mustafezur Khan aka John, director of Khan`s 2nd generation ltd and Mr. Ben, importer of Sywal ltd, through a ceremony at PRAN-RFL Centre in Dhaka, said a press release on Monday.

Khan`s 2nd generation ltd, a company of Auckland, has been importing various kinds of PRAN products including juice & drinks, beverage, snacks, confectionary, biscuit, spices, frozen foods & vegetables for the last five years.

Khan`s company has been promoting PRAN products in different areas of New Zealand, an island country of the south-western Pacific Ocean.

On the other hand, Sywal ltd has been importing juice & drinks, beverage, snacks, confectionary, biscuit, spices, frozen foods & vegetables items.

Khan`s 2nd generation ltd imported $ 4, 25,060 worth of products in last fiscal year while Sywal ltd imported $ 1,51,000 for the last six-month.

In 2014, Khan`s 2nd generation ltd imported $ 1, 47,970 worth of products.

“PRAN products are now popular in New Zealand,” said Mr John while speaking at the event.

Among others, Md Mizanur Rahman, chief of export and Arifur Rahman, head of marketing (export) at PRAN, were present during the award giving ceremony.
