PM inaugurates country’s first World Trade Center

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the country’s first World Trade Center around 4pm on Saturday in Chittagong.

The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) constructed the 24-storey World Trade Centre in Agrabad Commercial Area spending Tk 200 crore.

The construction work on the World Trade Center started in 2006.

The World Trade Center built in Chittagong has been a member of World Trade Center’s Association in New York.

The tallest building in Chittagong is equipped with all modern facilities.
