Info ministry spends 25.61 pc of ADP allocation

Information ministry has so far spent 25.61 percent of the total allocation of Taka 102 crore under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for 2015-16 fiscal.

The implementation scenario was figured out at the monthly review meeting on the development projects held at the ministry conference room in secretariat.

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu chaired the meeting.

Enquiring about the overall activities of the projects, the Information Minister directed the officials related to the projects to complete work within the stipulated time with sincerity.

Besides, Information Secretary Martuza Ahmed gave necessary directives to the officials concerned about the implementation of the projects.

Head of the organizations and officials of the concern branches presented progress report about the implementation of the project.

Additional Secretary Harun-Or-Rashid conducted the session.

Managing Director and Chief Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Abul Kalam Azad, Chief Information Officer Tachhir Ahmmad, BCTI and Film Archive Director General Dr Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, Directorate of Mass Communication Director General Kamrun Nahar, PIB Director General Shah Alamgir, Department of Films and Publications Director General M Liakat Ali Khan and the concerned officials were present at the meeting.
