PRAN signs export deal with Yemen

For the first time, PRAN, a processed food company in Bangladesh will export $2.1 million worth of products to Yemen, said a press release on Thursday.

An agreement was signed between PRAN and Sanaa-based Almoshara Company for General Trading and Cooling Limited at PRAN-RFL Centre in Dhaka on Monday.

Under the deal, PRAN will export its juice and drinks and confectionery items including lollipop, bubble gum, tom candy, choco choco, biscuits to the Western Asia country.

Md Mizanur Rahman, Chief of Export at PRAN and Mohammed Quasem, Managing Director of Almoshara Company, signed the deal for a year.

Mizanur Rahman said PRAN food products have a huge potentiality in Yemen and other Middle East countries. ‘At present we are exporting our products to 121 countries all over the world,’ he said.

Arifur Rahman, head of marketing (export), Ahsanul Siddiqui, senior manager (export), Mohtasim and Nabil Hasan of Almoshara Company were present during the deal signing ceremony.
