DFC’s anti-drug cycle rallies held in capital

Two cycle rallies on the theme ‘Say no to drugs, Stay healthy of cycling’ were held in Dhaka city on Friday, organized by the Duranta Fan Club in collaboration with Pran-RFL group.

The bicycle rallies were brought out in the city’s Pran-RFL group’s headquarters premises at 6:30am and 8:00am respectively and ended in middle Badda area after visiting different roads in the city.

Pran-RFL group chairman and CEO Ahsan Khan Chowdhury along with many cyclists from all walks of life participated in the rally.

“The purpose of the rally is to create awareness among the masses about the importance of environment-friendly transport. Besides, regular cycling is an exercise and it prevents us from disease,” said Duranta Bicycle brand manager A M Rakibul Ahsan.

Cyclists, who participated in the rally, said they believe that the cycling is not only environment friendly but also useful to health.

It brings happiness and harmony to the people, they added.
