BATB awarded for corporate governance

British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) secured first position in ‘ICSB National Award for Corporate Governance Excellence-2015’ in Manufacturing Companies Category for practicing good governance for third time in a row.

BATB Chairman Golam Mainuddin and Managing Director Shehzad Munim received the award from Prime Minister’s Advisor Dr. Mashiur Rahman at a grand ceremony held at Grand Ballroom, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city recently.

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) has been giving this award in eight different categories for the last three years to promote corporate governance excellence in the country.
