Walton focuses more on quality control

The country’s electronics giant Walton has greatly focused on ensuring highest quality of products and strengthening the research and development (R&D) activities, says a press release.

Walton authorities came up with the remark at the ‘Walton Plaza Conference-2015’ held at the premises of Walton Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. at Chandra in Gazipur on Tuesday.

Latest and new models of technology based electronics and electrical products of Walton brand are being released in the market at regular basis, they said and instructed the plazas’ managers to take massive preparation for expanding the existing markets at home and abroad.

The conference was attended by a total of 700 assistant managers and managers from 24 zones of Walton Plaza across the country.

During the conference, the high officials of the company addressed the strategic sales management system.

The participants also assured the Walton management of delivering their best efforts on expanding the company’s existing market at home and abroad.

Walton Group’s Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi inaugurated the conference while the group’s Managing Director SM Shamsul Alam, Chief Coordinator of Marketing Dept. of Walton Eva Rizwana, Executive Directors SM Zahid Hasan (Policy, HRM and Admin), Emdadul Haque Sarkar (Marketing Head), Nazrul Islam Sarkar (Foreign Trade Monitoring), Md. Humayun Kabir (PR and Media), Ashraful Ambia (Sourcing Engineering), among others, also attended the function.

At the conference, Walton Group rewarded 20 plaza managers for their outstanding performance in the company’s sales turnover. The conference was also colored with cultural programme.

Walton Group’s Chairman Nurul Alam Rezvi said, ‘Along with the continuous growth of its business, Walton is committed to make Bangladesh as a technologically rich country.’

The engineers of R&D wing are conducting massive research activities to manufacture world-class LED televisions, he said and hoped that the local company will grab major portion of the country’s LED television’s market like the refrigerator market.

Walton Group’s MD SM Shamsul Alam said selling product is not the prime goal of Walton. Rather, it wants to serve the country’s people through delivering highest quality technology based electronics and electrical home appliances.
