Dhaka WASA hikes water prices by 10% from July 1

The Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has decided to raise the price of water by 10% from July 1. In a notification issued on Wednesday, it said that water prices have been increased as per the section 22 of the WASA Act 1996 to adjust for inflation.
