HC orders to keep Somoy TV’s broadcast shut for 7 days

The High Court has ordered the authorities of private television channel Somoy TV to keep its broadcast shut for seven days. The HC bench of Justice Naima Haider and Justice Sashankha Shekhar Sarkar on Monday passed the order with a ruling after holding a hearing on a writ petition filed by the television’s Director Shampa Rahman.
