PRAN recently awarded an importer of Libya for his outstanding contributions to popularise PRAN products in the African nation. Md Mizanur Rahman, chief of export at PRAN, handed over the award to Ragab Ibrahim Al-Fitory, managing director of Alawa Company.Md Ehsanul Siddique and Major (retd) J Kabir Sakib, senior managers (Export-Africa Region), were present during the award-giving ceremony held at PRAN-RFL Centre in Dhaka.Mizanur Rahman said PRAN Export Ltd gave away the prize considering his performance for the fiscal year 2015-2016.Misurata based Alawa Company has been importing PRAN’s puffed rice, chanachur, mustard oil, fruit drinks, beverage and confectionery items since 2013.Mizanur Rahman said ‘There is has huge demand for PRAN products. PRAN is exporting its products to 130 countries including 44 in Africa’.
